On Friday 12th January, 14 of our Year 11 Languages students visited the Royal Holloway University in Surrey where they met industry experts who use foreign languages in their daily lives. This was kindly organised by the Languages for All charity. Our lucky students received advice for their GCSEs, taking A levels and finding careers using languages.

The students also had the chance to learn a new language which they had never used before and to tour around the beautiful, historic campus.

They came away feeling well-informed and inspired to study languages at A Level and as a degree.
