Bolder PE

We’re delighted to celebrate some fantastic news about Luan B (10T) and his recent sporting achievements.

We thrilled to share that Luan has been accepted and has joined Harlequins Rugby Academy. An incredible opportunity to continue developing his talent at a high level.

In addition to his success in rugby, Luan’s journey in handball has also reached an exciting milestone. Introduced to the sport in Year 7 through West London Eagles, Luan quickly developed a passion and talent for the game. We’re proud to announce that he has now been accepted into the Talent Pathway for the England Handball Team.

Congratulations Luan - we are so proud of your hard work, commitment, and success across both sports!

Girls’ Primary School Football Festival

Fifteen of our female sports leaders attended a Girls’ Football Festival for primary schools across the borough. During the morning, the students took part in training sessions focused on inclusive games and effective coaching techniques, learning how to deliver engaging and supportive activities for younger participants. In the afternoon, the Bolder leaders put their new skills into practice by leading a series of fun football sessions and games for the primary school pupils. The younger students gave fantastic feedback, saying they had a brilliant day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our leaders also had a wonderful time, showing great enthusiasm, confidence, and leadership - truly acting as inspiring role models for the next generation of young female footballers.

Year 9 & 10 Boys Shine at Futsal Tournament ⚽

Our Year 9 and 10 boys represented Bolder Academy brilliantly at the recent 5-a-side Futsal Tournament held at Osterley Sports Centre. Competing against schools from across the borough, the team showed great skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the day.

The boys were unbeaten during the group stages, demonstrating excellent communication, sportsmanship, and confidence on the court. Their strong performance saw them progress to the quarter-finals, where they narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals after a hard-fought match.

Throughout the tournament, the team truly embodied our Bolder values of being Brave, Kind, and Strong - playing with courage, supporting one another, and showing resilience until the very end.

We are incredibly proud of their attitude, teamwork, and the way they represented Bolder Academy. Well done, boys.
