Year 11 Cultural Trip to Barcelona

During October half-term, Year 11 students enjoyed three exciting days exploring Barcelona. Highlights included La Sagrada Familia, where they learned about Gaudí’s unique architecture, and the Picasso Museum, which offered insight into the artist’s life and work. Students also visited Poble Espanyol, discovering the cultural diversity of Spain’s regions.

Sightseeing took them to Las Ramblas, Montjuïc, and the newly renovated Camp Nou. Along the way, they sampled tapas and made great use of every chance to practise their Spanish.

It was an enjoyable and enriching trip, offering fresh inspiration as students prepare for their GCSEs.
