World Book Day

Bolder Academy was transformed for World Book Day as staff dressed up as their favourite literary characters and students took part in a House competition to identify as many characters (and their books) as possible from around the school. From Elphaba and familiar faces from Hogwarts to Horrible Histories and The Woman in Black, there were fantastic characters everywhere.

Students also helped decorate Farmer Jones’ classroom door, bringing Animal Farm to life in the corridors. Our kitchen team joined the fun too as Roald Dahl's Matilda, Miss Honey and Bruce Bogtrotter, with the canteen serving up delicious Matilda-themed treats.

A brilliant day celebrating books and reading across the school - we can’t wait to announce the winning House!
