Year 9 Insight Visit to Framestore

A group of Year 9 students who previously took part in the YSEG workshop delivered by Youth Careers Collective (Nov–Dec 2025) had the exciting opportunity to attend an insight visit to Framestore - a world‑renowned media company known for its exceptional work in visual effects, editing, animation, prop creation and immersive technologies.

Students were challenged to develop an idea for a new immersive experience, carry out research to support their concept and begin sketching and designing their ideas. The session concluded with students presenting their work to the wider group and receiving constructive feedback from industry professionals.

The visit provided students with valuable insight into the world of visual effects and creative digital careers, while also helping them build confidence, teamwork and presentation skills. We are extremely proud of the professionalism and enthusiasm they showed throughout the day.
