Year 10 STEM Careers Event

Fourteen Year 10 students attended an inspiring STEM careers event at Hampton School as part of the Ogden Trust London West partnership. During the afternoon, students met a range of professionals including Charlotte Massey, International Development Manager at the National Physical Laboratory; Andrew McHutchon, Head of Data Science at McLaren Racing; and Dr Tom Leggett, Lead Doctor for the FA’s England Para Football teams.

Students rotated in small groups, hearing about the speakers’ career journeys and asking thoughtful questions about pathways into STEM fields. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain real insight into exciting science careers and left many feeling inspired about studying science in the future.
