Year 10 Students Inspired by Theatre Trip to Arcadia

Year 10 Drama students recently visited Arcadia at The Old Vic, starting the day with a workshop led by members of the creative team, including directors and prop designers. In the session, students learned how design helps tell a story and created their own props using different materials, inspired by the show. This gave them a fun, hands-on experience of how theatre is made.

After the workshop, students watched the performance and were able to see these ideas in action on stage. The trip helped them better understand character, staging, and how stories are brought to life, supporting their GCSE Drama studies.
