9P Raise £180 for Refuge Through First Give Fundraising Event

As part of the First Give programme, students in 9P recently organised and carried out a successful fundraising event in support of their chosen social action project. Through their efforts, they raised an impressive £180 for Refuge.

Refuge is the largest domestic abuse organisation in the UK. Every day, its services support thousands of women and their children, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse. The organisation provides vital support to enable survivors to rebuild their lives free from fear.

The 9P students showed great commitment, teamwork and creativity in planning and delivering their event. Their work not only raised valuable funds, but also helped to raise awareness of an important issue affecting many families across the country.

This achievement reflects the core aim of the First Give programme: empowering young people to make a positive difference in their communities.

Well done to 9P for their hard work and meaningful contribution to such an important cause.
