BAFTA Poets Visit the Library

We had a brilliant opportunity to host Bafta winning poets, Isaac Nartey, Jamal Hassan, Barakat Olamide Lawal in the library, where they held poetry workshop with our Year 8 cohort throughout the day. They were brilliant and the students engagement was high.

The students enjoyed creative writing and understood that the spoken word is fun, creative, enjoyable way to enjoy literacy.
