Year 10 GCSE Drama Trip to The Old Vic

Continuing our partnership with the famous London venue, our Year 10 GCSE Drama students recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Old Vic Theatre, combining practical learning with a powerful live performance.

The day began in the theatre’s brand-new Clore Studio, where students took part in an engaging sound design workshop. Having been used for rehearsals by Beverly Knight just the day before, the space felt especially exciting. Students explored how sound shapes atmosphere and storytelling, experimenting with techniques used in professional theatre.
