Year 7

As we reflect on the remarkable term that our cohort has had this year, I am delighted to share some impressive achievements that highlight the fundamental importance of good attendance. We have achieved an outstanding 96% attendance rate so far, with 7C & 7O currently tied at 97%! This dedication ensures students can fully engage with the curriculum, build healthy and long- standing relationships with students and staff alike, and maximise their learning potential. Even small absences can impact progress, so we urge families to aim for the maximum school attendance throughout for the year and notify us of any issues early, so that we can explore further support.

Year 7 students have accumulated an outstanding credible 17,682 positive House points, showcasing the rewards of consistent effort, participation and thirst for success. Punctuality remains a key foundation for success, setting a respectful and prolific tone each day. Timely arrivals allow students to start lessons calmly and avoid disruptions for themselves and others. By fostering positive and consistent habits, such as preparing in advance, you are enabling your child to develop essential life skills, which will help them in their professional later life.

7P has continued to shine in this term, receiving a very solid 3,143 house points, ending up with the third place. In Second place, 7O has switched gears this term and increased their House points substantially, landing an impressive 2nd place with 3,591 House points. The winner for this term is 7M
