Rewards at Bolder
This year, we have continued to celebrate and reward our students' commitment to excellent attendance, punctuality and positive behaviour. Throughout the year, students have enjoyed reward trips to Sky Cinema, Airport Bowl and, most recently, Thorpe Park as recognition of their achievements.
Our rewards programme extends far beyond trips. We recognise our highest House Point tutor groups with tutor breakfasts, celebrate success through positive postcards and communications home, and acknowledge student achievements in our weekly and termly celebration assemblies with House Point and subject awards.
This year, we were also delighted to launch our Reward Shop through Class Charts. Students exchanged their House Points for a range of rewards chosen by our Student Leadership Team, including stationery, sports and art equipment, 'Skip the Lunch Queue' passes, hot chocolate with Mr De'Angelis, shopping vouchers and even AirPods!
As with any reward scheme, quantities of some items are limited, encouraging students to save and spend their points wisely.
To be eligible for next year's termly reward trips, students will need to meet the following criteria:
- Achieve 100 House Points
- Receive no more than 2 Behaviour Points
- Be punctual to both school and lessons every day
- Have no more than 2 days' absence
Selections will take place at the end of each term (Autumn, Spring and Summer), giving students multiple opportunities to earn a place.
