Year 9 Students Measure School Building Using Trigonometry!

This month, our budding mathematicians turned theory into practice by measuring the height of our school building - not with a ladder or tape measure, but with math!

As part of a hands-on learning project, students used clinometers and trigonometry to estimate the height of our school building. A clinometer is a simple tool that measures angles of elevation. When combined with basic trigonometric principles, it becomes a powerful device for calculating heights from a distance.
