On Friday 19th April, 21 Sports Captains from Years 7, 8 and 9 supported the delivery of the Hounslow Borough Primary Panathlon and Sitting Volleyball competitions at Osterley Sports Centre.

The day started with leadership and officiating training for the students so they were prepared to deliver the Panathlon activity stations, as well as referee the Sitting Volleyball tournament. Students also helped to set up the equipment and hand out the medals at the end of the competitions.

Our students led all of the activities to the 7 primary schools that attended. Many of the pupils had special educational needs and in addition to developing their leadership skills, the Sports Captains also learned how to adapt activities to ensure all pupils had fun and success.
