In February, four Sixth Form students visited the Chemistry Department at @JesusCollegecam , part of the @Cambridge_Uni, to compete in the Annual Chemistry Race. All students received participation certificates recognising their effort. Well done to our Sixth Form chemists!

Earlier this term, our Year 7 boys had a fantastic set of fixtures against Green School for Boys, with a 2-1 league comeback win followed by an impressive 6-1 friendly victory. A brilliant performance from every player, on and off the pitch!

Last month, Year 9 students visited the Rose Theatre Kingston to see the stage adaptation of The Boy at the Back of the Class, exploring themes of friendship, empathy and standing up for others. A fantastic learning experience!

Year 10 pupils from Bolder Academy recently attended an inspiring STEM careers event at Hampton School as part of the Ogden Trust London West partnership. They got to met a range of professionals and listen to the speakers’ career journeys. The event was a fantastic opportunity

We had a brilliant opportunity to welcome BAFTA-winning poets @iKingdom_Nartey, Jamal Hassan and Barakat Olamide Lawal this week! It was wonderful to see our students discovering that spoken word is a fun way to enjoy literacy. A huge thank you to all the poets!

As we start a new half Term, we’d like to remind students that every day counts. 83.7% of students with 100% attendance achieved grades 9–4 in English & Maths, compared to 35.6% who were persistently absent. Please report all absences via Parent Mail.

Our students were offered an amazing opportunity to be part of a student panel for @IM_org to discuss student opinions on the lowering the age of voting to 16 years. Adam C, Bianca M, Jenery CL, Liridon B and Rebecca B year 13, articulated themselves really well. Well done!

Last week, we were excited to welcome @TheGlobePlayers into school for two fantastic live performances. Our Year 9 students enjoyed an engaging performance of Romeo and Juliet, while our Year 11 students were treated to a performance of Macbeth as part of their GCSE revision.
